When You Plan to Travel Using An RCI Exchange, Follow These Steps:

FIRST, GET YOUR ASSIGNED WEEK(S) FROM WIVC:

To obtain your week assignment, submit your request in writing to WIVC and give the following information:

Your reservation is to be used to trade with RCI.
Location and approximate travel dates.
Number of weeks you want to trade.
WIVC & RCI membership numbers.

WIVC will send you a written confirmation showing the assigned week, which you will use to deposit with RCI.

From this point forward, you will deal directly with RCI. You can make your exchange request with them either by telephone or online via their web site.

SECOND, DEPOSIT YOUR WEEK(S) WITH RCI:

To DEPOSIT your assigned week into the RCI SPACEBANK,

For easy processing of your SPACEBANK deposit, have the following information ready when you contact RCI:

a) Your RCI Member ID number.

b) The name of the resort at which you own -- World International Vacation Club (WIVC).

c) Your unit type (one-bedroom, two-bedroom).

d) Your WIVC Membership number.

THIRD, REQUEST YOUR EXCHANGE WEEK

REQUEST your exchange week (vacation time deposited by another RCI member) at a comparable resort or resort area for the vacation time you deposited.

For easy processing of your exchange request, have the following information ready when you contact RCI:

a) Your RCI Member ID number.

b) Four or more desired resort choices or at least one area choice.

c) Your desired travel dates.

d) The number of people in your travel party.

e) Your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Diners).

FOURTH, CONFIRM

CONFIRM. Receive a confirmed exchange and get ready to go.

If one of your desired resort choices is available, your RCI Vacation Counselor can confirm your vacation exchange immediately. If a resort unit is not available to fulfil your request, your Vacation Counselor can enter a computerized search for your desired resorts and travel times. RCI will contiue to check all incoming "deposits" for the vacation time you desire. When a match is made, they will notify you that your accommodations have been confirmed.

WITHDRAWING YOUR SPACEBANK DEPOSIT

You may request a withdrawal of your SPACEBANK deposit, provided that the following conditions apply:

You have not received a confirmed exchange vacation against it.
Your deposited week has not been assigned.

TO USE THE RCI EXCHANGE SYSTEM, YOU MUST BECOME A MEMBER OF RCI.

You can expedite your membership by calling the Member Services Department at 800-338-7777. Please be sure to have your ownership information available, as well as a credit card for your first year membership fee.

FIVE TIPS FOR EASY VACATION PLANING FROM RCI

Deposit Early--you don't have to know where you want to go to make your deposit. The earlier you deposit, the more opportunities you'll have for a match when you do make an exchange request.
Request Early--as soon as you decide where you want to travel, let us know so we can start searching for your vacation.
Be Flexible--as a rule of thumb, your exchange request will be fulfilled more quickly when you give RCI four to six resort choices and dates rather than one or two.
Keep Your Endless Vacation Magazine Subscription Current--after your initial enrollment, your RCI membership is maintained exclusively through your subscription to Endless Vacation magazine. No deposits or requests can take place for any dates that occur after your subscription expiration date.
